My name is Leslie Machabee, and I am so excited to help you achieve your academic goals. I worked for two years as a Spanish tutor at the University of Puget Sound, where I earned a BS in economics with minors in Spanish and math. I also help my students one-on-one in economics, math, and SAT/ACT prep.
My tutoring style is collaborative, as I believe no one knows how you learn better than you. I focus on strategies to master not only the material at hand, but to build intellectual confidence for college, professional pursuits, and beyond.
Lastly, I have experience with virtual tutoring, as I helped dozens of students through the Spring 2020 semester at the height of the COVID-19 outbreak. I have a few tricks up my sleeve to make virtual tutoring appointments as successful as possible, wherever you are. I’m looking forward to working with you!
