Hello, my name is Stormie Alterman. I have a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During my time at university, I worked part-time as a math tutor, where I discovered my passion for teaching. Since graduating, I have continued to pursue that passion and have been working as a high school math teacher for the past two years.

Through my experience in both tutoring and the classroom, I’ve learned that every student has their own unique way of learning.  My goal is to make complex math concepts feel simple and easy to understand. I especially enjoy seeing students gain confidence when they solve a problem that initially seemed challenging or complicated. I believe that with the right guidance, encouragement, and patience, every student can improve their math abilities.
