Mike Vogt

Hello! My name is Michael Vogt, but you can call me Mr. V.  I am excited for the opportunity to work with you. I am originally from Fairbanks, Alaska where I lived for 30+ years.  I now live in Whitehouse Texas, where I have a wonderful wife and two children, a daughter age 12 and a son age 8. I have a Double degree (English and History with a minor in Art) from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I also have a Masters in Education (curriculum and education) from the University of Texas at Tyler. I currently work as a technology / PLTW teacher at a university academy.  I have been a certified teacher for 12 years, and have worked with ages 8 - 20+. I have also worked with troubled children for several years. I have taught 3D modeling, engineering, computer science, web design, economics, and history. I also coached soccer, sword fighting, volleyball, and archery. My hobbies are soccer, Judo, hand craft, history, and anything technology related. I love to learn and teach what I have learned. I use all of my interests and experiences in everything I teach.
