Hello, my name is Dominic Polyak. I am currently a senior at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. I am on track to graduate in May 2027 as Valedictorian, with a 4.95 weighted GPA and a 4.0 unweighted GPA. In terms of standardized testing, I have received a 35 on the ACT and qualified as a National Merit Semifinalist for the class of 2027. In all school subjects, I am among the top students at my school, so I can thoroughly teach various core curriculum subjects to high schoolers. I have tutored many students at my high school over the past three years, and my goal is to help students achieve the same success I have by teaching them the methods that helped me succeed. In my free time, I practice and teach the French horn as well as perform in local philharmonic orchestras and wind ensembles. I have performed nationally and internationally with the Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles at their YOLA National Festival, and I toured with the group to the Edinburgh International Music Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. Whether students need help with music, the ACT, advanced mathematics, English, or other core subjects, I am happy to help them in any way I can.
