My name is Cedric Romero. I graduated at Oregon Institute of Technology in 2026 with a BS in Applied Mathematics and a Minor in Applied Statistics. In addition, I have a background in engineering such as fluid dynamics, free body diagrams and equilibrium, strengths of materials; I also enjoy coding in Python and R. I scored in the top 10th percentile on the ACT and currently do additional ACT and SAT tutoring. I took AP courses in Government, Music Theory, US History, Calculus, and Art History. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy acrylic painting, playing saxophone, playing card games, and getting into reading.
I have been tutoring for 4 years and a TA for 2 of those years, most of those being math focused but have focused on other fields. Former tutees have said they learned a lot with me, and I can explain topics better than some professors.  I strive to not only explain topics to get the right answer, but also encourage methods to better understand material in the future. I believe education should be a topic guided together, so I want to work to develop confidence in each subject.
